This dining room was transformed from a neutral, underused space into a warm and inviting room full of personality. By introducing rich heritage-inspired colours, a dramatic floral mural and carefully selected lighting, we created a space that feels elegant, welcoming and perfect for everyday family life as well as entertaining guests. The result is a timeless interior that balances bold design with practical living.

The Brief

The dining room lacked character and didn't reflect the homeowners' style. The neutral décor and limited focal points meant the room felt functional rather than inviting.

We introduced a rich colour palette, a statement floral mural and layered lighting to create depth and warmth. Existing furniture was complemented with carefully chosen accessories to enhance the room without unnecessary replacement.

Our Design Approach

The original timber panelling became the centrepiece of the design, complemented by rich teal walls, geometric flooring and carefully chosen furnishings that introduce contrast and visual interest. Layered lighting and decorative accessories complete the space, creating a hallway that feels both practical and full of character.

The Result

The entrance now offers a confident first impression that sets the tone for the rest of the home. It combines timeless craftsmanship with contemporary styling, creating a space that is warm, welcoming and unmistakably personal.
